What is a Pre-config?
A Pre-config saves your current prompt, negative prompt, and all parameters as a "recipe" — load it back in one tap whenever you want the same setup.
Why you'd want one
Once you've dialed in a set of settings you like (specific style + prompt template + canvas parameters), re-entering everything by hand gets tedious. Pre-configs save you the repetition:
- Save the fixed parameter template for "character portraits"
- Switch between different art styles (oil painting / anime / photoreal)
- Jump between multiple projects quickly
What a Pre-config contains
A Pre-config saves in real time all of your current settings:
- Prompt
- Negative prompt
- All parameters (model, width/height, batch count, Steps, Prompt Guidance, Prompt Guidance Rescale, Sampler, Noise Schedule, VarietyPlus, Seed)
In other words, any change you make on the main page is synced into the current Pre-config — there's no "save" button.
Basic operations
Auto-save
Every change is auto-saved in real time. Edit the prompt or tweak a parameter, and it's already saved into the current Pre-config.
Rename
Tap the pencil icon on the right of a Pre-config item and enter a new name. We recommend naming by purpose + style for easier lookup later:
Portrait-OilScene-Anime-LandscapeAvatar-Photoreal-Square
Create
Use the "+ Pre-config" button at the bottom of the list to create a new Pre-config.
A new Pre-config defaults to the system defaults (the same settings you saw on first entry to the Image Generation page). After creating, you automatically switch to it, and subsequent changes save into this one.
Delete
Enter the Pre-config list's edit mode (top-left "Manage"); a delete button appears on the left of each item, with a confirmation prompt. Deletion is irreversible — confirm before proceeding.
Auto-sorting
The list is automatically sorted by most recently modified — recently edited Pre-configs float to the top; no manual reordering needed.
Tips
- Save a few: every time you find a good combo, create a new Pre-config — build up your own "recipe library"
- Name clearly: makes it obvious at a glance what each one is for
